Series AM 1 - 5 Multiaxis Positioning System The Elgo Axis controllers AM1 to AM5 lend themselves to many applications, from simple to complex automation systems. The axis modules can be mounted in a cabinet on DIN rail, by means of a snap-on clamp. The axis modules are connected together by means of a serial interface (eg RS485) or Bus system (eg Can-Bus). The Axis modules are complete integrated Drive and Positioning systems, incorporating DC/Brushless Servodrive or Inverter, together with built-in PLC. The whole system can be set up and operated from the Elgo LCD Terminal T99, or by means of a PC. Up to 4 axis can be supplied in one module. Using this modular approach, not only is the price of the modules low, but also the assembly and wiring in the cubicle kept to a minimum.
