Single-word mnemonic programming makes high-level stepper control simple with the 6440 Indexer Drives. Eight bi-directional I/O ports maximize your application flexibility. Communications with the 6440 is through RS-232, RS422 or RS-485. Multi-axis operation of up to two slaves is possible with synchronous or alternating motion for both axes. Its size of 2.25 x 6.25 x 10.0 in. requires only 22.5 square inches of panel space.
