The BSM   N-series is used in the world's fastest machines and demanding   applications. The N-Series brushless servo motors provide a rugged, durable   design with high energy Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnetics. This series   provides continuous stall torque capability ranging from 3.9 Lb-In (0.45   N-m) to 354 Lb-In (40 N-m). Peak torque capability is nominally 4 times   continuous. This series has the lowest inertia to provide the maximum   torque per package size. | 
The BSM motor has been time proven over the years. The BSM N-series is used in the world's fastest machines, in industrial motion control applications such as: indexers, form/fill/seal, flying shears, cut-to-length, robotics, insertion, packaging, capping machines, laser trimming, marking/labeling and many other demanding applications.
| The BSM C-series provides industrial motion control machines with   an AC brushless servo motor with “higher” inertia – thus providing an   excellent match for equipment requiring “higher” inertial matching. The   goal of this series design was to increase torque while reducing package   size (comparing to previous series). The result was a torque increase   of up to 50% in some models, with a package reduction of up to 2   inches/50mm. The BSM C-series provides continuous stall torques ranging from 10   Lb-In (1.2 N-m) to 1062 Lb-In (120 N-m). Peak torques are 3 times   continuous. The C-Series provides an economical package best used in   applications with higher load inertias.

 | ABB's totally stainless steel SSBSM series of AC brushless servo   motors are designed for industrial applications such as food, liquid,   pharmaceutical, and other motion control applications requiring   washdown, and high hygiene motors. They may be applied in harsh,   corrosive environments. These motors are designed to handle IP67 and   withstand 1500 psi washdown conditions.  These stainless steel servo motors are offered in standard and low   inertia designs for best machine inertial matching. Included in this   quality design are lazer etched nameplate, FDA shaft seal, environmental   protected stator with premium moisture resistant wire, and internal   thermal over temperature protection.
